How My Mother Gave Me HIV And My Father Advised I Shouldn't Tell Family Members And Friends

Jide, a 21-year-old fashion designer, has said that his mother gave him the HIV virus, and that his father told him not to tell his friends or family members that he had HIV.

Nigeria joined the rest of the world in celebrating National AIDS Day, and some people with HIV have talked about how they got it. Jide was one of the people who told what happened to him.

Jide told how he got HIV from his mother. From the time he was born, his parents gave him a certain drug. They didn't know why they always gave him the drug and not his sister.

He said that whenever he asked his parents, they would say it was for a cough, malaria, or Typhoid. He said that his parents watch him all the time to make sure he takes his medicine.

This went on until his mother died, and she never told him the real reason why she always gave him these drugs. After that, his father picked up where his mother left off.

When he was 14, he got angry that he had to keep taking the drugs even though he didn't have Typhoid or malaria. Finally, he stopped taking the drugs.

Then, his father told a family doctor about the secret. He was shocked and thought that was the end of his life, so his father told him that he has HIV too and told him not to tell family and friends so that he wouldn't be judged or treated badly because of it.

Jide also said that his girlfriend, who doesn't have HIV, doesn't know that he does, but he plans to tell her when he finds out how much she loves him.

He has also told parents that they should always tell their kids where they are. What do you think about this?
