I Made Her Famous: Sumsum Fumes On Akuapem Poloo’s Arrogance

Yaw Adu, better known as Sumsum Ahuofe, a Kumawood actor, has claimed that he was the one who made Akuapem Poloo famous. He expressed disappointment in her recent behavior in an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM. Sumsum shared how he met Akuapem Poloo through a mutual friend in the United States and helped her gain popularity in Ghana's media space.

He recounted that his friend requested his help to make Akuapem Poloo famous in Ghana, and he agreed to create a video where he would insult her, and she would reply with insults of her own. The video became popular, and Sumsum claims that he played a significant role in Akuapem Poloo's fame.

However, Sumsum is disappointed in Akuapem Poloo's recent actions, particularly her decision to convert to Islam and then post videos of herself twerking. He criticized her behavior, stating that it is disrespectful to Muslims and that Muslims are decent people.

Sumsum also mentioned that even though he helped Akuapem Poloo when she was arrested and sentenced to 90 days in jail for sharing a nude photo of herself and her son on social media, he now feels that she has become arrogant and forgotten where she came from and how she got her start. He expressed his disappointment that she now raises her shoulders when she sees him, indicating that she has become arrogant.

Some Ghanaians have agreed with Sumsum's comments, while others have criticized him for publicly shaming Akuapem Poloo. However, Sumsum's revelations highlight the challenges that come with fame and the importance of staying humble and grounded.
