I Saved GH¢27,000 From Selling Rubber To Travel To Work In Dubai And This Happened - Young Man Reveals

After saving thousands of cedis to fly to Dubai for work, a young Ghanaian man named Kwabena Brown has admitted that he was duped by an agent.

In an interview, Brown said the person who was supposed to get him a job in Dubai deceived him by giving him a tourist visa instead of a work visa.

As a result, he was unable to find work in Dubai and eventually had to accept that "sika no ahye" and return to Ghana.

In an interview with SVTV Africa, Brown revealed.

"I was selling rubber bags to pay for my trip to Dubai," he said. I saved 27,000 cedis and I gave 9,000 cedis to the agent who organised the trip. I also spent some of the money on travel preparations.

"When I understood that my visa was a visitor's visa and not a work visa, he assured me that my position was safe.

When I moved there and couldn't find a job, I started to feel jealous of my friends when I read their social media updates and whenever I looked in the mirror, I started to feel depressed because I understood that something was wrong.

Brown went on to say that being unemployed in Dubai was terrible and that anyone who had relatives there who were unemployed should help them to leave the country.
