"I divorced my husband because he was broke, now he is working and the new lady denies me access

Going through a divorce is never easy, however, when I divorced my husband it was because of financial constraints. It felt like no matter what we did, we weren't able to make ends meet. We had an amicable divorce and I wished him the best as he went on his way to make something of himself.

A few years later I heard that he had become quite successful and was living a life of wealth and luxury. I was initially surprised and happy for him since I wanted him to do well and make something of himself.

But then I heard that the new woman he was seeing was not keen on me having any contact with him when it came to his newfound wealth. I was heartbroken. After all, I had stuck by him through thick and thin, supported his dreams and ambitions, and now that he had achieved something I was being shut out?

How could I feel joyful for his success if I was not allowed to share in it? I was in a difficult spot, trying to come to terms with the fact that while I had been by his side through hard times, I now had to let him go and find his own happiness without me.

Over time, I eventually realized that I could still celebrate his success and be proud of him, even if I was not able to enjoy the fruits of his new wealth. It felt strange to know that I saw him as a successful man, when I had to let him go because of our financial circumstances.

I’m sure it was also difficult for him since he wanted me to enjoy his newfound wealth and wasn’t able to due to the wishes of his partner. All that being said, I’m very proud of the man he has become and the success he has achieved in life. I’m sure there are many people out there who have gone through similar experiences and I just wanted to encourage them to move forward and seek out their own successes, despite the bumps in the road.
