I make money even in my sleep – Kelvyn Boy shows the way

The Ghanaian Afrobeats singer Kelvyn Boy claims that the music industry is flourishing greatly.

The musician claimed in his most recent interview with Joy Prime that: I can't always be in their faces and that he took a brief break from music to tend to personal concerns.

He said that because of how the music industry has evolved, he no longer worries about doing a lot of shows to generate money.

The Mea hitmaker claims that music fans now stream and consume more than in the before due to changes in the way they listen to music.

Speaking to other musicians, he advised them to place their specialties in a market where they may make money even when they are not involved in the music industry.

If I dey sleep sef , I get paid. That is how things should be. You don't need to see my face before you realise I'm approaching them. I'm starting to turn right now. You don't need 10 concerts to be fine if you do that. You don't have to come here all the time; otherwise, the folks [SIC] won't understand.

According to Kelvyn Boy, the narratives surrounding the newest songs entering the system are altering in the music industry.

Many things have changed, including how people consume music and how to attract attention. It's not like before, when any song could blow, but I'm hearing a lot of lovely tunes now.

Songs no longer merely fail because of hype. He said to the host, KMJ, If I hear the tunes that blow, I feel like we are getting there [SIC].
