The last thing she expected was to return to find her husband in the embrace of another woman after giving up her freedom and spending time in jail for him.

The Kumasi-based woman, Akos (not her real name), was inconsolable at the Nhyira FM studios during the Obra show as she described how she had been to hell and back because her partner made the wrong choice.

She claimed that the early years of their marriage were happy, but things changed when her husband decided to make womanising a pastime.

Not only was he seen in public with women of different skin colours and body types, but he also violated her marital bed with his mistresses.

One such misadventure led to his wife's imprisonment.

She revealed to the host, Mama Effe, that she had come home from town to find her husband actively pursuing another woman.

She claimed that she became enraged and hit the woman on the head with a bottle. Her husband had her arrested while the victim was taken to hospital.

Akos described spending three nights in jail before being released on the account of making payment as compensation to the mistress, who had stitches all over her head.

She continued: "I thought it would be a sign from my husband to stop womanising, but it wasn't".

She claimed that her husband had formally introduced her to his mistress on several occasions to get to know each other.

This, she claimed, broke her heart and she made the decision to leave with their three children.

She took the matter to Nhyira FM to ask for alimony and support for her children.
