If Ghana Will Collapse, It's Because of NPP And NDC - Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah Snaps

Dr. Benjamin Otchere-Ankrah expressed his disappointment with both the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) for their involvement in the illegal mining (galamsey) activities that are causing environmental destruction and water pollution in Ghana.

He also mentioned that some Chiefs are also involved in this menace.

He shared a personal experience where he witnessed an NDC member involved in galamsey receiving a warning from an NPP member before an operation to seize excavators in the area where he was carrying out his activities. Dr. Otchere-Ankrah strongly believes that the political influence needs to be eliminated for the nation to win the fight against galamsey.

In his opinion, legalizing an illegality is a disgraceful act, and if the country collapses, it will be because of the NPP and NDC's lack of willpower to fight galamsey.

Dr. Otchere-Ankrah emphasized that everyone must come together to eradicate this menace, and political parties should not prioritize their interests above the nation's well-being.
