It’s Sad Akufo-Addo Has Led Us Into A Pit – Betty Mould-Iddrisu

Betty Mould-Iddrisu, a former Attorney-General, expressed her concerns about the severe economic difficulties Ghanaians are facing under the current Akufo-Addo-led government. She accused President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of disappointing the people of Ghana and leading the country into a dire situation.

During an interview with Joy News, Betty Mould-Iddrisu stated that Ghanaians have been enduring unbearable pain and still continue to do so in these trying times. When asked about President Akufo-Addo, who she has known for 70 years, she quickly responded by saying that he has led the country into a pit, and it is unfortunate that they will have to endure this for another year.

She further criticized the government's explanation of the economic crisis, blaming it on the outbreak of COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine war, calling it a misguided belief. Betty Mould-Iddrisu stated that the governance of the country has been abominable, and even she did not expect it to reach this level.

She expressed her admiration for Ghanaians, saying that they are resilient and can withstand much adversity.
