John Dumelo shades MP Lydia Alhassan ahead of 2024 elections

John Dumelo, an actor turned politician, has reiterated his intention to contest the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Madam Lydia Seyram Alhassan, the current Member of Parliament (MP), will have a tough time with Mr Dumelo.

In a tweet on February 16, Mr Dumelo made it clear that he would fight as hard as his opponent.

He said she can't avoid the embarrassing defeat he plans to give her no matter how much money she gives to her constituents and other important people.

He Tweeted: “No amount of money can save her. I’m ready to match her boot for boot…”

He said this after a Twitter user told him that Madam Alhassan had said she would beat him again in 2024.
