Ken Agyapong Is Ghana’s “Second J.J Rawlings”- Lawyer William Kusi

William Kusi, a senior lawyer at Dominion Chambers, told the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that they should choose Hon. Kennedy Agyapong as their next flagbearer.

His advice comes from the fact that the Member of Parliament for Assin Central has many of the same traits as the late former President Jerry John Rawlings, who was popular with a wide range of people.

Lawyer Kusi Boafo said on Wontumi TV on January 9, 2023, that the NPP must choose Hon. Kennedy Agyapong as their candidate or risk going to the opposition.

He said, "The NPP only has one candidate, and it's either him (Kennedy) or they choose to be against him."

He also said that 80% of lawyers in the Ashanti region support Mr. Kennedy Agyapong and that some National Democratic Congress (NDC) cadres are sure he will do as well as the late Jerry John Rawlings.
