Kennedy Agyapong Gives Breakdown Of 727 Cars He Has Purchased For NPP

Kennedy Agyapong, a contender for the flagbearer position in the New Patriotic Party, has been campaigning to the party's delegates in anticipation of the November 4th primaries.

Throughout his campaign, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central has been emphasizing his contributions to the party since its establishment. In a video shared by Oman Channel, Agyapong listed the total number of cars he has financed for the party since 1994, which amounted to 727.

He explained that in 1996, he was unable to provide much support due to financial struggles but still managed to provide the party with 15 pickups.

In 2000, he contributed 50 pickups, and in 2004, together with Mr. Oppong Bio, he provided 100 pickups. In 2008, he and Mr. Oppong Bio donated 245 brand new Tata pickups and 77 Russian trucks.

Furthermore, Agyapong also disclosed that he purchased 240 pickups for the party in 2016. Apart from financing cars, Agyapong, a well-known financier, cited various instances where he provided monetary support and other resources to the NPP.

He asserts that he is the most qualified candidate to lead the party to victory in the 2024 presidential election. The NPP has scheduled the primaries for November 4, 2023, to choose a flagbearer to lead the party in the upcoming election.
