Lawmakers will ask questions of the police officer who is said to have killed Barrister Bolanle Raheem, a pregnant lawyer, over the weekend.
After a minute of silence for the lawyer who died, the lawmakers in the green chamber pass a resolution to find out what happened that led to the young lawyer's death.
The house of representatives also decided that the alleged killers, who were thought to be police officers, should be tried in court so that justice could be done.
In a statement posted on Twitter by the house of representatives on Wednesday, the lawmakers said that police officers shouldn't be able to drink while they're on duty.

House of Representatives, today, passed a resolution to investigate the circumstances leading to the killing of Barrister Bolanle Raheem, prosecute the officers involved with a view to getting justice, and to stop officers from taking alcohol while on duty.
