Kissing DKB was for social media trends – Akuapem Poloo

Rosemond Alade Brown, a Ghanaian actress, has now admitted that the purpose of a photo of her kissing comedian DKB at Joy Prime was just to fuel social media trends.

Derick Kobina Bonney, better known on stage as DKB, came to Joy Prime to promote his concert, so according to Akuapem Poloo, they had to do something to make it a hot topic on social media.

“I've kissed DKB before but it was at JoyPrime. He was there to promote his show; it was for a trend. I can do a lot of trends with DKB.” When asked if she had ever kissed the comedian, Akuapem Poloo replied, "That's between us. "This was said during an interview on Kingdom FM.

Actress Rosemond Brown added that although they could have done everything in the past, she cannot work with DKB the way she used to before she converted to Islam.

She also stressed that they never engaged in any intimate relationship, and that the comedian never romantically proposed to her.

“But now that I have fully converted to Islam, I cannot do that. I can do a lot with DKB. He's never asked me out, not because I'm afraid of him or anything, he's never proposed to me, I don't know where he lives and he doesn't know where I live.”
