Her wedding flyers and pre-wedding videos had touted a unique royal wedding to be held at Ahodwo's opulent and expensive Greenwood Events Centre.

The supposed foreign fiancé was in his seventies. A week before the wedding, Wilson Dass travelled to Ghana with his family to finally meet his sweetheart in person after several months of virtual courtship.

According to sources close to the Ghanaian family, there would be a wedding dinner, a buffet provided by Jofel Catering Services, and nine bridesmaids who had been trained to appear in four different sets of fine dresses.

The groom, Mr Dass, his parents, Mr Bura Dass and Mrs Dhanti Dass, and the rest of the Indian family mysteriously left on the eve of the wedding without a word to the Ghanaian family. The reason for their disappearance is unknown.

According to Kasapafmonline.com, the wealthy Indian family's return to India was only discovered by the woman's family a few hours before the wedding, which had received extensive digital and physical publicity and was expected to attract a large number of young people from Shelly's neighbourhood.

I ironed a jacket and a kente specifically for this wedding, so look. There were other boys there, but I had to stop them. A source told reporter Ivan Heathcote - Fumador: 'I had to switch off my phone because I was besieged with calls asking if what they had heard was real.

We've heard he's incredibly wealthy. The preparations for this wedding were huge because he sent over 200,000 cedis alone. Another person close to the unfortunate woman revealed that the lady was actually bragging in the neighbourhood that she was going to host the biggest wedding the area had ever seen.

Other local sources claim that the boast was made to belittle competing female slay queen organisations in the area and to further ridicule the woman's ex-boyfriend, with whom she had a child.

The uncertainty has given rise to a number of theories, some of which claim that during the short time the two actually met, the lady did not display warmth and affection in Dass' presence whenever they were in public.

For now, the woman, her famous footballer father and her mother Gifty Boadu are all indoors, possibly nursing their wounds and trying to figure out how to pull themselves together to deal with the heartache and humiliation caused by the ex-boyfriend.
