Lady Dies In A Hotel Months After Completing National Service

Promise Ekong, a young woman from Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State, has died in a hotel in Abuja.
According to reports, Promise, who completed her one-year NYSC obligation in November 2022, died at the Stanzel Grand Resort, Fifth Avenue, Gwarimpa.

According to the management, Promise allegedly drowned in the swimming pool of the hotel.

However, her death remains controversial as the family suspects police misconduct.
