Lady murdered in a fight over a man, see what happened

According to a report by Adom Online, three individuals have been detained by the police on suspicion of murdering a 28-year-old woman in Dwinase, near Kokotro, in the Bekwai Municipality of the Ashanti region.

The primary suspect, Mary Akosua Agyemang, who is 25 years old, is accused of confronting the victim, Vida Ennin, over rumors that she had been gossiping about her in connection with a man they had both been involved with. On Sunday evening, the two women engaged in a physical altercation over who had a legitimate claim to the man's affections.

Mary left the scene of the altercation and returned with a sharp knife, which she allegedly used to stab Vida in the face, breast, and palm, causing her to bleed to death.

Mary, also known as Serwaa, was apprehended by the Bekwai police, as were two others - Felicia Sarpong, 61, and Ernest Achirem, 63 - who are accused of attempting to shield Mary from arrest.

The three suspects were brought before the Bekwai Circuit Court on Wednesday and have been remanded in police custody to aid in the investigation. They are scheduled to appear in court again on April 26th.
