MP to sponsor 100 people from his constituency abroad

According to sources, the Honorable Alfred Obeng-Boateng, Member of Parliament for the Bibiani Anhwiaso-Bekwai Constituency in the Western North Region, is offering sponsorship opportunities for some individuals in his constituency to pursue better opportunities abroad.

As early as 2002, the MP promised to provide support for 100 individuals to seek "greener pastures" overseas by 2023. During the launch of a mechanized borehole project in Baakokrom on April 8, 2023, he announced that the first set of beneficiaries would be departing Ghana soon to enhance their prospects overseas by visiting the United Kingdom and other European countries.

The young population in the district is grateful for Hon. Alfred Obeng-Boateng's initiative, believing that the beneficiaries will not forget their roots and will work to enhance the fortunes of their families and hometown once they have achieved success abroad.
