Mahama Is Confusing The “Sound Of His Gin Bottles” To God’s Voice - Chairman Wontumi

The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) Ashanti regional Chairman, Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, has refuted former President John Mahama's assertion that God has spoken to him regarding the 2024 general elections.

Chairman Wontumi, as he is popularly known, replied that it is instead the sound of the alcohol bottles that Mr. Mahama consumes that is influencing his statements, not the voice of God.

According to Chairman Wontumi, Mr. Mahama should avoid drinking before speaking in front of a crowd, or he may mistake the sound of his bottles for divine messages.

This came after Mr. Mahama claimed during a meeting with delegates at Akropong that God had granted the NDC a victory in the 2024 elections, and that no one could counteract the will of God for his people.

Chairman Wontumi advised Mr. Mahama to abstain from alcohol consumption before addressing the crowd.
