Mahama's Surprising Bill-Paying Habit Revealed!

The Electricity Company of Ghana recently conducted a routine check and found that former President Mahama pays his utility bills from his own pocket and has never defaulted on payments.

In an interview with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM, the Managing Director of the company, Mr Samuel Dubik Masubir, cautioned against using this information for political gain. He also expressed surprise that a former president would pay his own bills.

Mr Samuel Mahama, brother to the former president, promised to forward the issue to the Chief of Staff to ensure that the state absorbs the utility bills of former President Mahama. In an earlier interview with Alfred Ocansey of TV3, Mr Mahama stated that he pays for all his bills and does not enjoy any perks as a former president.

It's impressive to learn that a former president like Mahama is responsible and conscientious enough to pay his own bills. Let's not use this information for political gain and instead, focus on the positive example set by the former president.
