Man Brutally Beaten to Death for Failing to Account for Wee Sales

In a tragic incident in Sehwi Ahibenso, Bodi District of the Western North Region, a 30-year-old man named Kwadwo Afful lost his life after being mercilessly beaten. The unfortunate incident occurred when he refused to provide an account of the marijuana ("wee") he had sold for his boss.

Kwadwo Afful met his untimely demise as he failed to repay the money he owed from the sale of the marijuana. Consequently, he was subjected to a gang assault, and his lifeless body was left on the main street of Ahibenso on Thursday morning.

Daniel Kwasi Tawiah, the grandfather of the deceased, shared the heartbreaking details of the incident with Emmanuel Sowah of Onua FM. Tawiah recounted witnessing a gathering on the street and approaching to inquire about the commotion, only to learn that his grandchild had been fatally beaten by some individuals associated with the local drug trade. Distraught, he promptly informed the authorities at Bodi police station, and subsequently, the body was collected and taken to the Juaboso Government Hospital morgue for further investigation.

At present, the suspects remain at large, adding to the anguish of the grieving family. However, Oliver Ackah, the brother of the deceased, asserted that the family would not rest until all those responsible for the brutal attack are apprehended. Ackah revealed that the culprits behind the fatal beating are known within the community.
