Man Caught After Stealing GH₵ 200,000 From Friend’s Bank Account To Stake Bet

A young man was caught after he stole 6.6 million Naira from his friend's bank account and used the money to gamble in the Badagry neighborhood of Lagos.

A video that shows the bad guy's friends confronting him about the bad thing he did has been posted online. It has gotten mixed reactions.

The victim gave his friend his ATM card so that he could get food for him, but the friend ran off with the card and linked it to a sports betting app.

Then, he started making small deposits to his betting account with the ATM card, which added up to N6.6 million. His transaction history showed that he put more than $130,000 into his betting account more than once.

Unfortunately for him, he was found and taken into custody in Badagry, Lagos state, on charges of theft.
