Man Kills His Brother-In-Law Over Mango

Over mangoes, a man hit his wife's brother with a log and bricks, killing him.
The scary thing that has become a topic of conversation in the Lalapanzi region in the Midlands territory happened in the Bhudhe 2 town in Lalapanzi.

A person close to the situation said that 52-year-old John Munjanja went to see his sister, 49-year-old Muchaneta Munjanja, with her children while her husband, 42-year-old Samson Maredzva, was out.
She was happy that her brother came to visit, so she gave him mangoes. Just as John was about to go home, Samson showed up.

The source said that when Samson saw his brother-in-law carrying mangoes, he got angry and asked his wife why she gave him mangoes without his permission.
After that, they got into a fight, which led to Samson attacking his brother-in-law with a log.

"He fell, and while he was on the ground, he used a brick to hit himself in the head. He made a lot of noise as he lay in a pool of blood and died." The information said.
Muchaneta and a neighbor told the police what happened, which led to the arrest of her husband. The funeral for John was held at Gweru General Hospital.

According to the deceased's family, they are getting ready to bury him, and they want to know why the husband killed his wife's brother. They think it was because he already had a problem with the man.
Emmanuel Mahoko, a representative for the Midlands police at Monitor, confirmed the event.
"We strongly discourage people from using violence to solve their problems because it could lead to needless deaths." He said.
