Man turns prayer session in church to marriage proposal for his girlfriend (Video)

A young man stunned his girlfriend by popping the question in church while she was deep in prayer, according to a romantic proposal video that has gone viral on social media.

In the background of the altar, where the man and his girlfriend are shown praying, is a crowd of people waving a banner that reads "Will You Marry Me?".

The woman assumed her husband was praying as they closed their eyes, but when she finished and turned around, she saw the banner and began to cry.

He then asked her to marry him while he was on one knee holding a ring.
