Marriage is draining, I have locked up my mind over it – Christiana Awuni [Video]

Christiana Awuni, a popular Ghanaian actress known for her roles in Kumawood, says she is tired of getting married.

She claims the reason she doesn't believe in getting married is because her two previous marriages didn't work out and almost destroyed her peace of mind.

Christiana Awuni, in a video from an interview she had with fellow actress Nayas on her show Adventures in Life, claimed that she has problems thinking about marriage.

The marital problems I have experienced. I have observed numerous marital problems. I'm not sure if pastors will pray for me. I am also unsure, but I have closed my mind.

Despite not having a home of her own, the 50-year-old actress says she enjoys the independence that living alone has given her.

The burden of being a wife was too much for her, she said, adding that one of her ex-husbands hounded her to the point where she had no privacy in her life.

I haven't built a house, but I'm fine. I don't want any problems. The second time I was married, the husband wanted to drive me to work. He wanted to be with me everywhere I went, to be aware of everything I did.
