Ministry Of Energy Celebrates New Chief Director

When the management of the Ministry of Energy, led by the Minister of Energy, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, organised a surprise event to honour the newly-appointed Chief Director of the Ministry, Mrs Wilhemina Asamoah, the main conference room of the Ministry of Energy witnessed moments of intense emotion and joy.

Mrs Asamoah was commended for her dedication to public service and for rising to the position of Chief Director.

In his remarks, Dr Prempeh urged all staff of the Ministry to work together and expressed confidence in the new Chief Director.

Mrs Asamoah, who was visibly speechless and unable to contain her shock, thanked the Almighty God for giving her strength and courage over the years.

She said she was ready to use all her resources to help the ministry grow and develop.

Hons. Andrew Mercer, Owurakoo Aidoo and Herbert Krapah, Deputy Ministers also commented on the event and offered their best wishes to the new Chief Director.

Mrs Asamoah is well versed in the intricacies of the civil service, having held senior management positions at various levels, including Director of General Administration in the Ministries of Education and Energy.
