Moment Christian Atsu’s Twin Sister Breaks Down In Tears As His Body Arrives In Ghana

The body of Ghanaian footballer Christian Atsu landed in Ghana on the evening of 19 February.

Several Ghanaians gathered at the Kotaka International Airport to pay their last respects to the late footballer.

Atsu's body was received at the airport by Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

Christian Atsu's twin sister can be seen sobbing in an online video.

When she landed in Ghana without her brother, the young woman was unable to control her emotions. She was comforted by a friend.

It is tragic that she travelled all the way from the UK to Turkey to help rescue her brother, only to find his lifeless body.

Ghanaian winger Christian Atsu was among those affected by the earthquake in Turkey.

Although the event took place on the 6th of February, Christian Atsu was discovered by the rescue team on the 12th - Saturday 18th February 2023.

An earlier rumour that Christian Atsu had been found with a minor leg injury turned out to be untrue. He subsequently pronounced dead and flown to Ghana.
