Mother Of 9 Back Home With Her Babies And In Good Health

A Malian woman who had triplets in Morocco had gone back to her home country. The Mali Ministry of Health said that the five girls, four boys, and their mother all arrived in good health.

In a statement, Minister of Health Diminato Sangaré said that he was happy and relieved to see them healthy. He said that the children and their mother are healthy and have arrived in Mali safely.

Sangaré posted on her Facebook page that they had arrived in Bamako. She included pictures of the nine children, including one she was holding in her arms, as well as pictures of the parents, according to a local Arabic newspaper that quoted AFP.

Halima Cisse, who is 25 years old and from the financial city of Timbuktu, gave birth to five girls and four boys in May of last year. She had been moved from Bamako to Casablanca at the end of March 2021 so she could get better care for the risks of her multiple pregnancy.

Doctors were worried about the mother's health and the babies' chances of survival, but all of them were born healthy and were cared for in Morocco until they could go home.
