My Friend Lied To Me That She Had Found A Lucrative Job For Me, Only To Find Out This!

Bernice Njeri tearfully described how a friend who had offered to help her get a job in a restaurant instead gave her a short dress and told her to sell her body to earn money.

She claims to have had five children from a previous marriage when she was young, but left her husband when her child was six months old because he treated her extremely badly.

When she returned home, she claimed that life was difficult because she didn't have a job and her parents weren't well. She says that she went to a friend and asked her to look for a job for her. She claims that after a while, this friend called her in Naivasha, where she went to see one of her two children, leaving the other with her parents.

They prepared themselves and left only for her to be taken to the street where she was given a short dress and told to change and stand there like other girls, selling her body to earn money. When she arrived, this friend informed her that she worked in the restaurant and was doing the night shift.

She claims that after being frightened, she quickly left and returned to the house. When her friend followed her and asked why she had refused the job, she replied that she couldn't because she had been thrown out at night with her two children sleeping outside.

She returned to her parents' home the next day and began doing odd jobs to support herself, after asking a kind stranger to pay her bus fare.

She advised people to always get to know their friends well and to resist the temptation to follow their example in order to fit in.
