Filinda says that in the first year of her career, even her biological sister ran away from her and wouldn't eat her food. She said, "My sister couldn't come to my house because I was afraid, but that fear went away over time."

In an interview with DJ Nyaami on SVTV AFRICA, the divorcee said that she was afraid to tell people about her job because she didn't want to be judged or thought of as a bad person. Filinda said that her ex-husband said she slept with dead people.

"I didn't want people to find out that I worked at a funeral home. People think morticians are dirty, don't do anything useful, and use drugs. Last year, people found out. My ex-husband started saying that because I work there, I sleep with dead people.

Filinda said she put her work on TikTok to inspire herself and other morticians. She said, "I'm a proud mortician and I don't do drugs." People found out about it because I put it on WhatsApp.'

Miss Kuthii has been a mortician for nine years, and she loves helping the dead. She put an end to all the myths about her work. Filinda has only one child.
