NDC Nat. Organiser Joseph Yamin Denies Alleged Attack by Party Members at Moree

Joseph Yamin, the National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has dismissed allegations that he was attacked by furious party members in Moree, Central Region.

According to reports, Mr Yamin was campaigning for Ama Brown Klutse instead of NDC parliamentary aspirant Felix Kwakye Ofosu, which purportedly led to the attack. However, in an interview on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem on Friday, the NDC Organiser refuted the claims, stating that he was not in the region at the time of the alleged incident. He further revealed that the last time he visited the Central Region was on April 4, 2023, for parliamentary vetting.

Mr Yamin expressed astonishment at the unfounded reports and stressed that he always informs regional executives of his presence before any visit. He also stated that he was currently in Sunyani on official duty and had not driven a pick-up truck in the past four months, adding that he had received calls from Central Region executives regarding the attack and his supposed involvement, which he denied.
