National Cathedral Project: Ablakwa Behaving Like The Devil’s Agent - Chairman Wontumi

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said that Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, was being used by the devil to talk against building the National Cathedral.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako, also known as "Chairman Wontumi," said that Okudzeto Ablakwa's decision to go after Reverend Kusi Boateng shows that he is against things that bring glory to God, just as Sanballat was upset when he heard that Nehemiah was building the wall of Jerusalem.

Reverend Victor Kusi Boateng is the Secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral of Ghana. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has shown what he calls "unimpeachable" and "incontrovertible" evidence against Reverend Victor Kusi Boateng.

The lawmaker says that Rev. Kusi Boateng is the third "mystery" director of JNS Talent Cantre Limited, a company that he had previously said had illegally received GH2.6 million from the Secretariat.

But when Chairman Wontumi heard about the accusation, he tried to protect Reverend Victor Kusi Boateng from the corruption charge that Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa was trying to make against him.

He said that Okudzeto Ablakwa was a politician who was dishonest.
"Did you even do your national service before you became a deputy minister of state? How long did you have to work before you bought gas stations?" Ablakwa was asked questions by Chairman Wontumi.
