Notorious female 'thief' given food after cleaning gutter

A notorious 'thief' was given meals after cleaning the gutter.

In Gomoa Buduburam, a group of angry youths detained a woman, believed to be in her late 40s, and forced her to clean the nearby gutters.

In the eyes of the locals, the woman is a known burglar who has been terrorising them for years.

Instead of handing her over to the police, the residents made her clean a dirty gutter before giving her porridge and bread.

The locals claimed that they had decided not to take her to the police station because she is often released on bail, only to return to commit the same crime.
