PASTOR By Day, KILLER By Night! He Murdered His Wife & Buried Her Without Remorse

In Akwa Ibom State, a pastor was finally arrested for killing his wife.
When the pastor's kids said they hadn't seen their mom after she fought with their dad, people started to wonder why.

The thing happened in Ikot Ataku, Okon, a village in the Eket Local Government Area. Chris Enoch, the founder of Omega Word Global Ministries, has been named as the pastor.

Chris is from the south-east of Nigeria, in the state of Ebonyi.
The youth president of the Okon Clan, Effiong Johnson, told PREMIUM TIMES on Wednesday night that Mr. Enoch killed his wife, Patience, seven days ago and buried her body in a shallow grave inside their gated compound, where they had been living with their five children.

The 15-year-old was the oldest.

Mr. Enoch's church has been meeting in the same rented building for a long time.
When the pastor's kids told their neighbors that they hadn't seen their mom in days after she had a fight with their dad, people started to be suspicious.

The youth of the community, led by their president, Mr. Johnson, who is also a "community police officer," went to search the pastor's property and were shocked to find the woman's body in a shallow grave. The young people turned the pastor over to the police.

The woman who was killed was a small business owner who sold pastries at the local market.

"I just got back from the police station," Mr. Johnson said. "He just told me that he killed the woman about seven days ago."

"From what the kids told me, the pastor and his wife had been fighting for a while, and the pastor would sometimes say in front of the kids that he would kill his wife, but nothing would happen.

On this day, the man chased the kids away when he and his wife started fighting," he said.
Akpabio Inyang, who is the Clan Head of Okon, has been to the scene of the accident.

When asked about what happened, Sunday Digha, the Divisional Police Officer in Eket, refused to say anything.
He told the reporter to talk to the state's police spokesperson.
