On January 22, 2023, Tshenolo Mabote, who was 27 at the time, was beaten to death by her ex-boyfriend in Marikana, which is in the North West region of South Africa. He is also the biological father of Tshenolo. At the moment, Tshenolo's son is 11 months old.

One of the accusations is that her ex-boyfriend went to Tshenolo's house to abuse her. During this time, he allegedly hit her with concrete blocks more than once.

People say that when he saw that Tshenolo was unconscious, he dragged her through the streets by her legs while continuing to beat her as he took her back to his house. During this time, she says he kept hitting her.

When people who were passing by tried to help, he took out a gun and pointed it at them. After that, he drove Tshenolo to the hospital, where she stayed until her injuries were so bad that she had to be moved to a different place.

He then took Tshenolo to the hospital and left. Tshenolo was hurt so badly that she didn't have the strength to get better, and she died the next day.
