On social media, people in Ghana are upset that the captain of Ghana's senior national team, Andre Dede Ayew, missed the penalty.

In their last group-stage game, against Uruguay, the Black Stars were given a penalty in the first half.

But Andre Ayew really wished he had taken this penalty.

Because of this, Ghanaians have taken to social media to talk about how upset they are about the missed penalty.

Some comments on Twitter seem to say that the Black Stars captain has taken over the insults from the former Black Stars captain, Asamoah Gyan, who missed the penalty kick against Uruguay again in 2010.
