Police Officer Chasing Stolen Car Finds 10-Year-Old Driving It

In Oregon, police are looking into how a 10-year-old got behind the wheel of a stolen car.

On Friday, a North Precinct officer was in her patrol car when she saw two cars speeding out of a fast-food restaurant parking lot.

Officers quickly realized that one of the cars had been stolen and went after it.

Authorities said that the person driving the stolen car was steering it in a strange way. When the police officer stopped the car, the driver and passenger both put their hands up right away.

The officer then found out that the driver was only 10 years old and the passenger was 13.

The kids were given back to their parents or guardians.

Even though the back passenger window was broken and the ignition was damaged, the stolen car was returned to its owner.
