Police Officer Slumps And Dies Inside His Office

SP Mojeed Salami, who was in charge of the Seme Police Division in Lagos State, fell and died in his office on Tuesday, January 10.

Police sources say that on the same day, the person who died had a headache and went to the hospital. He came back, but he was still sick. He asked his orderly to tell the Divisional Crime Officer (DCO) to come to his office because he wanted to leave but didn't want to leave without giving the DCO official paperwork. It was said that when the orderly came back, the dead person was on the floor gasping for air. He was taken to Badagry General Hospital, where it was confirmed that he had died.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, a spokesman for the state police command, said, "The death has been confirmed."

He passed away on Tuesday. Everyone was surprised because there was nothing seriously wrong with his health. They said that all he did was complain about a small headache, go to the hospital, come back, start working, and die soon after.
