There was an accident with a police car that was taking suspects from Damongo in the Savannah Region to Tamale in the Northern Region.

On the Fufulso-Damongo highway, the accident took place at Tailorpe, which is near Busunu.

Seven suspects and eight police officers who were in the car were hurt in different ways.

They were all taken to the hospital quickly.

No one knows what caused the crash, but warning shots could still be heard after the car went off the road.
