Popular Lawyer Joins NDC Parliamentary Race

Victor Kwadjoga Adawudu, a private legal practitioner, has declared his candidacy for the parliamentary election of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He will be competing in the NDC parliamentary primary for the Central Tongu constituency. The seat is currently held by Alexander Roosevelt Hottordze, who is the Member of Parliament (MP) for the area.

Adawudu has responded to the call from his constituents to contest the election, saying that there is a need for a new face to address the lagging development projects in Central Tongu compared to North Tongu and South Tongu, which are also NDC seats.

He believes that he is the best candidate to lead the NDC to victory in 2024. Adawudu will be competing against four other candidates, including the incumbent MP, in the election scheduled for May 13.
