Pray For My Administration – Akufo-Addo Begs Ghanaians

President Akufo-Addo has asked Christians in Ghana and all Ghanaians to pray for his government so that it can do its job well.

Ghana is having trouble with its economy right now, but the President thinks things will get better with the help of Ghanaians and their prayers.

"I need the help of every Ghanaian and the prayers of the Church in order for me and my government to do our jobs well.

"Pray for me so that God the Almighty will keep giving me the wisdom, strength, courage, and compassion I need to do my job as a good leader.

"With Him, anything is possible, because the Lord has the battle!" "Even this will pass!!" said President Akufo-Addo.

The President made this request at the Presbyterian Church's Ga Presbytery's 100th anniversary party in Accra on December 18, 2022.

He also used the event to promise the Christians in Ghana that he would build the National Cathedral.

He said that when the National Cathedral is finished, it will be Ghana's way of thanking God for all the good things he has done for the country.

"When finished, the National Cathedral will not only be the country's way of saying "thank you" to God for all the good things He has done for them, like sparing them from civil wars and deadly mass epidemics that have happened to almost all of their neighbors, but it will also be a place where the Christian Community of Ghana, which makes up more than 70% of the population, can come together.
