Prophet's Powerful Message to Mahama: Choose Awuah-Darko as Running Mate or Kiss 2024 Polls Goodbye!

In a recent interview on Kumasi-based Angel Fm, popular Ghanaian Prophet Kusi Appiah shared his insights on the upcoming 2024 elections and advised Former President John Dramani Mahama on his choice of running mate.

According to Prophet Kusi Appiah, the surest way for Mahama to secure victory in the elections is to select Mr. Kwame Awuah-Darko, the former Chief Executive Officer of Tema Oil Refinery (TOR), as his running mate. The prophet cautioned that if Mahama doesn't take this advice seriously and instead chooses another candidate, he is likely to lose the election regardless of who he picks.

Prophet Kusi Appiah further revealed that there are individuals around Mahama who have their own presidential ambitions and are pushing for him to choose Prof Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang as his running mate. Their ulterior motive is to take over the party's leadership if Mahama fails to win.

The prophet emphasized that Mr. Awuah-Darko possesses powerful policies that would resonate with the Ghanaian population and garner their support for the party. He mentioned that if Mahama had selected Awuah-Darko as his running mate in the 2020 elections, the outcome could have been different, potentially leading to a runoff. Prophet Kusi Appiah believes that Awuah-Darko's policies would have countered the opposition party and gained the admiration of the electorate, particularly the elite.

It is worth noting that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is scheduled to conduct its final internal elections on May 13 to choose a flagbearer and 276 nominees to contest parliamentary seats in the 2024 elections. The outcome of these internal elections will have a significant impact on the party's strategy and prospects in the upcoming electoral contest.
