Rapper KILLS girlfriend days after being acquitted of a double homicide

Days after being exonerated in a double murder case, Florida rapper Ace NH allegedly killed his fiancée.

Florida rapper Ace NH allegedly killed his girlfriend just days after being cleared of two murder charges.
In Tampa, Florida, Ace NH was arrested on suspicion of killing his pregnant girlfriend. The rapper now faces charges of first-degree murder and killing an unborn child.

According to Media Take Out, the rapper has previously been charged with murder, although he was recently found not guilty of a double homicide that occurred in Hillsborough County in 2020.

Ace NH, a rapper accused of killing two men in a recording studio two weeks ago, went on trial but was found not guilty. Ace NH told the jury that it was "self-defence". The rapper identified himself as a member of the Crips gang and the shooting was thought to be gang-related.

The rapper was reportedly arrested by authorities for the murder of his five-month pregnant girlfriend after he was released on all charges.

According to police, Ace NH shot his pregnant girlfriend, Alana Sims, 22, in front of the car on 30 January while their 18-month-old son slept in the car.

Susan S. Lopez, the district attorney, said in a statement after Ace NH was taken into custody: "What this defendant has done is unthinkable. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of these crime victims.

"We prosecuted him even though we respected the jury's decision in the previous case because we didn't agree with it. We will continue to work with the TPD to hold him accountable for these latest crimes.

"Our murder suspect did the unspeakable when he killed an innocent mother and her unborn child just days after being acquitted of another crime," said Interim Chief Lee Bercaw. "I sincerely hope that the victim's family, who are grieving the loss of two loved ones, will find some comfort in this arrest. We are working with the District Attorney's Office to ensure that the suspect is prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
