Rest In Peace: She Was Buried Under Cement And Tiles At Her Boyfriend’s House

Berk is allegedly detained when a woman's rotting body is discovered underneath a home's floor and is buried in cement.

In a Mandalay residence, the decomposing body of a woman was recently unearthed by SAPS and the Faith and Hope Missing Persons organization.

The body is thought to be that of missing person Cleo Diko, who went missing earlier this month after more than three months of silence from her pals.

Diko's body was discovered on Friday at the residence in Heather Way where she was last seen in October with her partner, who lives in a separate entry.

The two were reportedly observed bickering at a neighboring smoke shop on the evening of October 14.

After the body was discovered, police reportedly arrested the boyfriend.

The suspect's mother called them, according to sources close to the investigation, to let police know that while cleaning the house at the separate entry, she had discovered pillows and blankets covered in blood.

The mother, who had previously been questioned by the police, reportedly acknowledged that her son was residing there but stated that she hadn't seen him since October.

According to a source who spoke to the newspaper, "She stated she doesn't go in there since it looks like a varkhok."

She also acknowledged that her son was unruly and frequently hung out in Beacon Valley or at the Mandalay Train Station.

"So the mother contacted to say she found the stuff while SAPS was looking for the berk to interview him.

"The body was discovered under the bed, sealed with cement, and then tiled over.

It has been there for a while because it is badly deteriorated.

A 38-year-old suspect, according to the source, was apprehended at the Mandalay station.

According to police spokesman Joseph Swartbooi, "Lentegeur investigators responded to a scene on January 27 in Heather Street, Mandalay.

"When they arrived, they discovered the house's flooring to be loose, and upon inspection, they discovered the decomposing body of an unidentified female."

On Monday, the suspect is scheduled to appear in the Mitchells Plain Magistrate's Court on a murder charge.

When the Voice contacted Veranique "Benji" Williams, the organization's founder and head of Faith and Hope Missing Persons, she was unable to confirm or deny that the body found at the scene belonged to Diko.

"That is a matter that is still being looked at. However, Cleo's mother has been notified of this possibility.

However, Diko has already received a flood of tributes on Facebook. Her pals have also expressed their sympathy.
