Rev Anthony Boakye’s Wife Obaa Yaa Asantewaa Stopped From Performing Widowhood Rites?

Obaa Yaa Asnatewaa, the wife of Pastor Anthony Kwadwo Boakye, has allegedly been barred from performing widowhood rites according to multiple reports.

Authorities of the Resurrection Power New Generation Ministry have reportedly declared that Obaa Yaa Asnatewaa is not qualified to observe widowhood customs or express grief for her late husband.

This follows reports that she skipped a family meeting with Otumfour Osei Tutu's Ankobiahene to discuss plans for the funeral rites of Rev Anthony Kwadwo Boakye.

The community is happy with the latest development that deprives Obaa Yaa Asantewaa of her widowhood ceremonies, the reports added.

As a wife, she is not allowed to mourn her husband in any way.

Also, 30 March 2023 has been set aside for the one-week celebration of Rev. Anthony Kwadwo Boakye.
