SHS Girl Who Left Home For School Dies After Sleepover At Boyfriend’s Place In Prampram

MyNewsGh reports that a Senior High School student who left her home in Nsawam, in Ghana's Eastern Region, to see her boyfriend has died in Prampram. She had gone there to see him.

The student, whose name and details are not given, was on her way to high school in Akatsi, but she stopped in Prampram to see her boyfriend.

During the visit, the SHS student was said to have said that her stomach hurt, but she died when she was taken to the hospital.

Since then, police in Prampram have begun to look into what happened, and the girl's parents in Nsawam have been told.

Police say that the boyfriend has been taken into custody to help with an investigation.
