A video of a young man being cast under a spell while trying to steal a phone has gone viral on social media.

According to reports, the thief was about to steal when he suddenly stopped moving and froze.

This was due to a spell cast by victims who had previously lost their phones.

The video is currently trending at number one on all social media platforms as netizens discuss the tragic yet humorous incident.

At the time of writing, it is unclear whether the man is still a statue at the entrance to his victim's room, or whether the necessary ceremonies have been performed to release him.
