Sad News Hits Bawumia

In a heartfelt announcement on Facebook, Vice-President Mahamudu Bawumia shared the news of the passing of his dear 85-year-old friend, Daari Pogo. Daari, who had been a cured leper, resided in Gurungu Motori in the Upper West Region.

Her dire living conditions had sparked a national dialogue, prompting Bawumia to take action by providing her with a comfortable two-bedroom house.

Expressing his sorrow, Bawumia acknowledged the significance of being able to bring joy to Daari's life during her final years. He concluded his message by praying for the peaceful repose of Daari Pogo's soul.
