It's with heavy hearts that we report the passing of Jones Osei, the father of renowned Ghanaian producer and sound engineer, Hammer of the Last Two. The sad event occurred on Sunday, April 30th, 2023, leaving Hammer and his family in mourning.

Hammer, who is widely regarded as a legend in the Ghanaian hiplife music scene for his exceptional production skills, took to his Twitter handle to break the news to his fans and well-wishers. He expressed how he received the news with shock and how he wasn't quite prepared for it. However, he found comfort in the fact that his father had lived a good life and was resting peacefully in his bed.

The celebrated beatmaker, whose real name is Edward Nana Poku Osei, also took time to reminisce on the memories of his childhood and thanked his late dad for raising him and his siblings right. He bid his father farewell, wishing him a peaceful rest in the afterlife.

The passing of Hammer's father is indeed a sad occurrence for him and his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this trying time. We can only hope that the memories of the good times spent with Jones Osei will help to comfort them in their grief.
