Reports indicate that Fidelis Adagwine, also known as Castro, the Upper East Regional Treasurer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has passed away in a car accident on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 according to a publication by MyNewsGh.com.

Castro was not only a politician but also a businessman, and was known for being the owner of the popular restaurant Travellers' Inn in the region. He had run unopposed for the position of regional treasurer last year.
