Sad News Hits NDC At Assin North

In a tragic incident that occurred after a campaign event in the Assin North Constituency of the Central Region, one individual who supported the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has lost their life. The NDC supporters had gathered to show their support for John Dramani Mahama, the party's Presidential Candidate for the 2024 elections, during a campaign in Dansame on Saturday, June 17.

However, on their way back from the program, an accident took place, resulting in several supporters sustaining various injuries. Former President Mahama had to halt his campaign to personally visit the injured individuals. Expressing his sorrow, he conveyed his condolences to the family of the deceased supporter through a post on his official Facebook page. He also stated that he would lead a party delegation to visit the family and offer their sympathies.

Despite this unfortunate incident, John Mahama went on to deliver a keynote address at the Nasarawa investment summit in Nigeria.
